MEET MIA

Mia joined our rescue after we offered assistance to a family in need. The family was overwhelmed after their dog had a litter of four puppies. We sponsored all the medical care  for mom and the puppies and we also welcomed the father of the dogs into our rescue...his name is Buddy! In rescue, it is not often that we get to know who the mom and dad of our dogs are, so we feel extra lucky to know that these puppies come from incredibly sweet parents.  

Mia was born on March 16th.  We have been honored to help raise Mia since she was four months old.  Mia is so sweet, smart and beautiful.  She will come right up to you and sit, waiting for pets and scratches behind her ears!  Mia walks great on a leash, crate trained, knows how to sit, stay and we are working on shake.  She gives the sweetest little kisses.  While Mia is a tad bit shy, it doesn’t take long for her to open up.  

Mia would do great in a home with children, other dogs and no cats.  She may get into things that are not hers but is great at taking commands and quickly learns what is not hers.  Although sometimes you must tell her twice!  An active family would be best for Mia since she is young and due to her breed will have energy.  She also is up for a nap on the couch watching Netflix of course.  Mia is potty trained and would love a big backyard of her own!

Mia’s adoption includes her completed veterinary exam, spay, vaccines, microchip and basic training (learning still in progress).  We would happily provide an additional in-home session with our trainer.  Mia is eager to please and due to her age, the consistency in training will carry on into her very bright future!
