We welcomed Willow into our rescue from a hoarding situation of FIFTY dogs living on a property in Phoenix. Due to the number of dogs living there, Willow had little to no human interaction, nor did she spend any time in a home. She was under socialized and terrified of people.
Naturally, though, Willow is great with other dogs. She is currently living in a foster home with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She lived with 50 dogs for years, so whether you have one (or more), Willow will make fast friends. Confident, social dogs in the home would be really great examples for her.
While Willow still shies away from human touch, she does enjoy the company of her people, and she is so much fun to have around. She will wait by the door when you leave and will greet you with a happy dance as you come home. It's such an adorable welcome! Occasionally, Willow will even jump onto your leg while you’re sitting and balance on top like a mountain goat. She's a hoot! She's decided she's allowed to touch you, but you just can’t touch her -- clearly it’s Willow’s world, and we’re all just living in it!
Willow is a special girl with some special needs who will need an equally special and experienced person to adopt her. We think she would be the perfect companion for a single someone who has a calm, consistent routine and just wants some additional company around the house and someone to offer a warm welcome every time they come home.
Her adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip and spay. Apply below to meet our special Willow girl. Her sweet eyes will melt you in no time.
Adoption fee: $200
