About us

A woman with long, blonde hair happily looking at her dog, a white and gray pit bull mix.

Our Mission

Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue specializes in saving animals in most critical need who are facing unnecessary euthanasia in our local shelters. We provide them a safe, loving and enriching environment as we work to provide every resource necessary for them to be fully rehabilitated and, ultimately, become adoptable. From there, we work to find them their most perfect forever homes.

How We Work

Love Them All Sanctuary + Rescue relies heavily on our network of dedicated fosters.  Without those loving people who open their homes to temporarily house and care for one of our dogs, we would not be able to save as many dogs as we have. Fosters are critical to our mission. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit our foster page.

To us, "rescuing" a dog is a lot more than pulling it from a county shelter and finding an adopter. We heal dogs from the inside to the outside.  As we often take in vulnerable animals facing euthanasia due to extensive medical or behavioral needs, our focus is on emotional, mental and physical rehabilitation.

We work tirelessly to provide our animals all the resources they need, from full veterinary care, diagnostics, surgeries and specialists to behavior modification training. Rescuing means going above and beyond to make each dog we save the very best dog it can be for its future forever family. This means that we offer post-adoption support because once a dog is in the Love Them All family, it's always part of the family.

Our Sanctuary

We opened a canine rescue and rehabilitation Sanctuary in 2023 to significantly increase our impact and further support our mission of saving pets who would otherwise be discarded by our local shelters. This physical location enables us to save so many more lives so we can continue easing the burden on overcrowded shelters. Beyond that, our Sanctuary will allow us to do so much more to give back to our community and improve animal welfare in the state of Arizona.

Who We Are

Love Them All Sanctuary + Rescue's management team is entirely run by volunteers who are passionate animal advocates dedicated to reducing the number of euthanized pets in Maricopa County. We have come together to be a solution to the ongoing overcrowding problem our county shelters face.

The Sanctuary residents are cared for by our Animal Care Team, almost numbering a dozen staff members, that provide daily care for the dogs who call the Sanctuary home.

What's in a Name?

The rescue was originally named Two Chihuahuas Rescue when it was founded in June 2020 by Christine Conroy. It was a name that was near and dear to our founder's heart. Christine's rescue journey started with two tiny chihuahuas!

As the rescue's focus was saving all breeds in critical need, she knew that the name needed to better reflect the rescue's mission. The rescue became Love Them All Sanctuary + Rescue in June 2022. This name encompasses our two core beliefs:

1) that all breeds deserve to be saved and

2) that every animal, no matter how critical, sick, or injured, deserves a chance

So here's to doing more, saving more and truly loving them all.

VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT TEAM

Christine Conroy

FOUNDER + PRESIDENT

Christine founded the rescue in June 2020 because she saw a need and wanted to be part of the solution. She is the driving force behind Love Them All Sanctuary + Rescue that rallies her team of volunteers to work as tirelessly as she does for every dog in our care.

Liz Kromminga

VP, OPERATIONS + FOSTER COORDINATOR

Liz  has worked alongside our founder for years and has long dedicated her free time to local shelters and rescues. She routinely fosters some of our most challenging and heart-breaking medical cases.

Alannah Goetzenberger

MEDICAL COORDINATOR

Alannah brings years of experience managing the medical care of animals in need to our rescue. With her, we are now able to do in-house testing and treatment!

Carrie Bernardi

ADOPTION COORDINATOR

Carrie deeply cares about each and every dog that we take in and that she works tirelessly to adopt out. She has particularly useful experience in handling and working with fearful dogs.

Christine Mielke

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Christine supports our founder in a variety of projects from digital and print media, event planning, this website and pretty much anything else that she can help with.

Cindy Pino

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Cindy is the bright and smiling face so many of our volunteers first interact with. She does an amazing job making everyone feel welcome and can always be counted on in a pinch for anything LTA might need!
