Anyone over the age of 18 who is comfortable being around and working with dogs of different sizes, backgrounds and breeds.

Volunteers have an immense impact on our daily operations as our facility is open 7-days a week. We are asking our volunteers to commit to helping  at least 6 hours per month.

 First, you will submit your information using the form below, and our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to you.  All volunteers will attend an in-person orientation at the Sanctuary, which takes one to two hours, before they can schedule their first volunteer shift.

Love Them All has different levels of volunteering, which represents a volunteer's level of dog handling experience and determines the types of activities (and levels of dogs) they can interact with. 

All volunteers start at the Green level. During your first two shifts, you will shadow a lead

volunteer. After a minimum of eight (8) hours as a volunteer, you may be eligible for additional training to move up to our Yellow-level.

All volunteers can interact with Green-level dogs by providing cuddle time and enrichment (like snuffle mats, supervised bone time, scent work, read to dogs and play time).  Volunteers can also handle Green-level dogs during events. 

We also ask volunteers to clean up messes, help organize or do other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

More experienced volunteers can go through additional training to walk, handle and interact with Green- and Yellow-level dogs.
