SWEET. QUIET. WIGGLE-BUTT EXTRAORDINAIRE!
Bethany was found as a stray and brought into the county shelter. Thought to be used for breeding and then discarded, she found herself on the euthanasia list due to having masses. We brought her into the rescue because we knew she deserved to have a chance at her best life yet!
Since coming to us, Bethany has had multiple mast cell tumors removed (and continues to be monitored for regrowth) along with an entropion repair and repair of her umbilical hernia. While healing, Bethany has been enjoying the love and care of her foster family, but now she's ready to find her perfect forever family.
Bethany gets along well with dogs similar to her size or bigger and tends to like calm ones best. She is a quiet girl who settles in well for a long cuddle-session on the couch or a rest in her crate. She would enjoy a quieter home with a simple routine and doesn’t need much, if any, yard at all.
Our sweet girl is VERY food-motivated and will dance for her dinner as you prepare it! Bethany is crate- and house-trained, has impeccable leash manners and loves to play with stuffed toys. She often carries a stuffy everywhere she goes :).
Bethany’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. Apply below to meet her, and you'll quickly experience the essence of pure love and joy!
Adoption fee: $250
ADVENTUROUS. PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED!
Chief is an adventurous, energetic three-year old Dobie who loves running, playing and being with his people. He has been professionally obedience trained and graduated with honors!
This handsome Doberman would love an active home without young children, and we dream of him being able to run around in a yard of his own. While we are recommending he be the only dog in the home, he is dog-friendly and loves to have play dates with doggy friends. There is a chance he could go to a home with a calm female dog his size, but we would want to ensure the owners are very experienced and committed to doing everything correctly.
Chief is crate- and house-trained, knows all of his basic obedience commands and walks very well on a leash. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and is sure to have himself wrapped around your finger in no time!
Chief’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. Apply now to meet this incredibly intelligent, loving Dobie who is waiting to velcro himself to you!

DOG-FRIENDLY. ADVENTUROUS. ENERGETIC!
Delilah was found as a stray in the streets of Phoenix and was surrendered to our rescue. Since having her in our care, we have discovered she is a total ray of sunshine and a long-legged ball of energy. She is incredibly smart, eager to please, loves to learn and is always down for a new adventure.
If you’ve ever wanted a dog that wants to do ALL. THE. THINGS with, Delilah is your girl! Now fully obedience trained, she would happily run through an agility course, tag along at the farmer's market or hike up a mountain by your side...all with those bright eyes and big smile.
Delilah would love an active home without small children. A home with a yard she can run and play in would be an absolute dream! And because she does well with dogs her size or larger (especially energetic ones!), we would love to see her have at least on furry friend or two.
Delilah is crate- and house-trained, knows basic training commands and walks SO well on a leash. She loves to play with people, dogs and toys, and she has the brains to match her beauty.

CALM. SWEETIE PIE. CUDDLING QUEEN!
Izzie found herself on the euthanasia list at the county shelter due to having Valley Fever, which had spread into her front, right leg, causing her to limp. One look at those big, beautiful eyes and sweet smile, and we knew we had to save her. And boy are we glad we did!
Izzie is a total love bug. She adores relaxing and cuddling with you on the couch, but she will also surprise you with a good round of zoomies every now and then! She enjoys strolls around the neighborhood, chewing on antlers, and did we mention getting so much love??
Izzie’s dream home would be an adult-only home where she can be your one and only pup! She is crate- and house-trained, knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. As much as she loves people, she can be a little shy when first meeting someone new. With a little patience and slow approach, though, she'll be wanting to climb on your lap in no time.
Izzie’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. She will need continued medications for her [treatable and not contagious] Valley Fever. Apply now to meet the girl who just wants to cuddle, get pets and then cuddle some more!

SMILEY. WIGGLY. ADORABLE!
Kayla is one lucky lady! She was saved from euthanasia with literally moments to spare. The shelter had already administered her pre-euthanasia medication when we were able to intervene at the very last minute and welcome her into the rescue. Since that fateful day, Kayla has proven to be one of our sweetest saves!
The first thing anyone notices about Kayla is her smile -- it is big, toothy and joyful. You can see how much this girl loves life and is SO thankful to have been saved. Her smile is contagious, especially because it's always paired with the widest, goofiest wiggle-butt possible!
While she's not overly reactive to other dogs, she does want to be your one and only princess in the home. She can be a little shy around men but does warm up quickly. And while she loves to play, we are looking for a home with no small children because of her bowling ball-like enthusiasm. Kayla would LOVE to have a yard where she can wiggle her butt off and chase after balls thrown by her special people.
Kayla’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. Apply now to meet our happiest little moo-moo cow who will surely wiggle her way into your heart in no time!

Three years ago, Munch was found as a puppy on the streets and ended up in the shelter system early on. After being adopted for years, he was attacked in his last home by larger dogs, which resulted in him being returned to the shelter. After eight long months of being overlooked in the shelter, he was put on the euthanasia list. We could't let his story end there, so we stepped up to save him.
Since being with his foster, Munch has finally gotten a taste of the good life. He has received [and shown] so much love! He is energetic, eager to please and curious about everything. He will happily ride in the car with you or be a couch potato snuggle bug while you watch your favorite movie. This boy is such the perfect gentleman in the home!
Munch is crate- and potty-trained and likes a quieter household with a consistent routine. He loves to play with toys and people. He is food-motivated, responds well to redirection and loves all the training he's working on. He's intimidated by larger dogs and often scared of loud noises, though he's learning that everything is okay. His ideal home would be one without young children, and if he has any doggy siblings, they need to be smaller than him.
Munch is an affectionate, silly goof of a dog who just wants to enjoy a life by your side - whether that’s getting pets on the couch or playing a game of fetch! His adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip and neuter. Apply below to meet this playful pup who will surely win you over with his big grin and happy wiggle!

RESILIENT. COURAGEOUS. SWEETHEART!
Sierra was discovered on the streets of Phoenix, bleeding on the sidewalk from multiple stab wounds. A Good Samaritan took her to the nearest emergency hospital where she received surgery to clean and close her wounds. From there, she was taken to the Arizona Humane Society (AHS).
Unsurprisingly, this wounded gal was terrified! She was put on the euthanasia list at AHS for being scared of medical handling. Knowing she had been through so much only to be set to die, we had to step in. We knew we could help to heal not just her exterior wounds but her inner spirit as well.
We are so happy with how far our resilient girl has come! Sierra is now healthy and healed, inside and out. She is sweet, playful and loves to chase after balls. Her energy is calm and soulful, and she loves everything about life, especially going for long, scenic walks.
With how far this girl has come, we are confident that the perfect place for her to call home is out there waiting for her! Her dream home is one without children as she prefers a more predictable and calm environment. Any doggy siblings would need to be her size with similar energy, and as always, proper introductions are a must. Sierra is crate- and house-trained, has great leash manners and knows basic commands. Her only long term medical needs include daily eye drops for her chronic dry eye.
Sierra’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. Apply now to meet our fully-recovered, brave and courageous angel that just wants to find her people and a home to call her very own!
Adoption fee: $300
Tessa was brought into the county shelter as a frightened stray who had trouble walking on her hind limbs and was suffering from an upper respiratory infection. After x-rays were taken, it was determined that she has a severe spinal deformity. With her sweet face, we knew we needed to save her from euthanasia and get her into our care for further diagnostics.
Thankfully, with the love and care of her foster family paired with excellent veterinary care, Tessa has fully recovered from her upper respiratory treatment.
Tessa is crate- and house-trained, has lovely leash manners and sleeps through the night. She also does so well when left unattended at home. She is learning basic obedience, though considering how incredibly food-motivated she is, she's more than happy to do just about anything for a treat!
Tessa absolutely LOVES to wrestle and run around with her foster fur-siblings. She loves all things fluffy (like herself), whether that’s napping in a cozy dog bed or squeaking her favorite stuffy. She is a playful, loving, silly girl just waiting for a family to call her own! Her dream home would include a doggy friend and have no stairs but plenty of yard to play in.
Tessa’s adoption fee includes completed veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchip and spay.
Apply now to let this golden girl light up your life with her brilliant smile, goofy personality and joy de vivre!
