ADOPTABLE PUPPIES!

We’re excited to introduce the Desert Pups! 

• Gobi (m) (red merle + speckled) – curious + affectionate 
• Mojave (f) (black + tan) – playful + bold

When you first meet them, you’d have no idea these sweet, energetic pups had a rough start to life – coming from a hoarding situation, battling parvo, and ending up on the shelter’s euthanasia list at just 7-weeks young. Without a second thought, all 6 puppies joined our LTA family and these little fighters beat the odds. Now they’re ready for their next big chapter: HOME.

While they were raised together, we believe they may be from two different litters. Each one has their own personality, but they all share the same herding breed traits – sharp, driven, playful, and ready for something to do. They have high food drive and high toy drive, which makes them incredibly fun to train and engage with – especially as they build on their obedience training.

With continued structure, consistency, and plenty of outlets for their mental and physical energy, this crew will absolutely thrive. They’d excel in trick training, dog sports, hiking, jogging, you name it! 

Herding breed experience is a big plus. As puppies, continued socialization is important, and they would also benefit from a confident resident dog (though not a requirement), depending on the match.

*LTA does not sterilize puppies until they are at least 6 months old. Until then, puppies are available for foster-to-adopt, with adoption finalized after surgery.

Destiny knows she’s destined for greatness. With her soulful brown eyes and beautiful brindle pattern, how could she not be?

This sweet girl is housebroken, crate-trained, and knows her basic obedience. She also loves watching TV and rides like a pro in the car. Destiny gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She’s extremely dog-social + savvy and has even become a proud helper at the sanctuary, teaching other pups how to make canine friends too.

Energetic and affectionate, she truly blossoms when given the chance to experience new things with a little encouragement. On a recent cabin weekend with a volunteer, she was totally in her element. She explored, collected all the squeaky toys, happily entertained herself, and ended the night curled up on the couch for some well-earned snuggles.

That weekend helped Destiny unlock her confidence and realize just how much she loves being part of a home. Now, she’s dreaming of finding the home where she’s meant to be. Could that be with you?

Fozzy is a 1.5-year-old shepherd mix with a heart as big as his playful spirit! He has mastered the perfect balance of energy and sweetness. He's made great strides with his obedience training, as he's quick to learn and eager to please. He absolutely adores other dogs and thrives in a calm, patient home.

Fozzy may be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, you'll discover the sweetest, most loving companion. Whether it's cuddle time on the couch or playful romps in the yard, Fozzy approaches life with enthusiasm and love.
