At just a year old, Ashley was sadly surrendered to the county shelter when the cute “puppy-phase” was over, and they "didn't have time for her". Scared, confused, and beyond nervous in such a stressful environment, Ashley was placed on the euthanasia list for her fearful kennel behavior and lack of proper socialization. We took her in knowing this beautiful girl deserved a chance to learn that this world doesn't have to be so scary after all.
Ashley turned a corner with us, and her personality began to blossom. We put her with our trainer to work on basic obedience, socialization and confidence. Her achievements in training have been amazing! She has been out socializing with people (and dogs) in public places. She has learned impulse control and commands such as “sit”, “place”, “lay”, "let's go", door expectation and “leave it”. Ashley isn’t just a beauty, she’s got brains too!
Ashley is now ready for a home -- the most perfect home for her. We are looking for adopters who can give her the patience, structure, routine, activity and adventure she needs to continue to blossom and grow. We are looking for a home with no children. Ashley would do best in a calm, consistent household committed to continuing her training and socialization.
Ashley's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip, spay and completed obedience training. We will also include a session with our trainer so her new family can learn all of her commands. Apply below to come meet Ashley. We can pretty much guarantee you'll fall head over heels in no time!

OLD SOUL. LOUNGER. CUDDLER!
Lorelai came into the county shelter as a stray with significant lameness and stiffness. Unfortunately, she was put on the euthanasia list due to the severity of her condition. We stepped in to save her because we didn't want her story to end there. This beautiful girl deserved a chance!
It was no wonder that Lorelai was in pain and didn’t feel like herself: she was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection, tick fever and Valley Fever. Since getting the much-needed treatments, we have seen her beautiful spirit and sweet personality shine more and more.
Lorelai is slower to warm up to new people, but if you're patient, you will surely be rewarded. Once she opens up to you, she will truly love you forever. Lorelai adores her daily walks in the neighborhood but in general is a quiet old soul who loves to lounge and snuggle with her people. She has amazing leash manners, does well left alone in the house, enjoys car rides and is working on basic commands.
Lorelai’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. Apply now to meet the sweetest, most laid-back cuddle-companion you could ask for!

Hi! My name is Ruger, and I am a spunky, handsome, 4 year old, good doberboy looking for my furever family. I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet nights at home with my family, a good meal, a warm bed and all the love I can get! If you are looking for a velcro Doberman, then look no further because this hunk of love likes to be right by your side.
I am learning all about what it’s like to live in a nice warm (or cool in AZ) house. I enjoy the occasional bark at noises in the yard or things in the street, but it’s not excessive. I love to run in the yard and play with all of my toys. I especially love soccer balls! I am learning to be a good boy on a leash and love my weekly, medicated bath. I even jump in the bath tub all by myself.
I will need someone who will be willing to continue my treatment for valley fever and give me a weekly bath (my fur was all gone but is slowly growing in). I like cats a little too much so I need to be in a cat free home. I need people who respect my space and I'm not sure I'd like tiny humans too much. I love my 12 year old human brother because he knows how to love me just the way I like it. I kind of like to be the boss of the other dogs so a slow intro is a must if I'm going to be around other dogs. I do get along well with my current doberbrother most of the time.
I know the perfect family is out there for me and I will patiently wait for you to find me. If you think I'm the one for you, please click on the button below. I can't wait to meet you!
Ruger's adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams. neuter, vaccines and microchip. Apply below to meet this handsome boy. He will steal your heart in no time!

Baxter is living proof that the best things come in big packages! This handsome 10-year-old Rottweiler has officially mastered the art of being the perfect senior gentleman. Think of him as your personal teddy bear who happens to weigh 90+ pounds.
What Baxter Loves:
He's the type of dog who wants to be near his people but doesn't need constant attention. Think of him as the perfect balance between social butterfly and independent spirit - he'll happily join you for activities but is equally content playing with his toys while you work. Baxter would thrive as the only dog in the home or with a calm, senior fur-sibling that also enjoys a life of leisure.
Ready to give this distinguished gentleman the loving retirement he deserves? Baxter comes fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, with a clean bill of health and a heart full of love to give.

Angelique found herself on the county’s euthanasia list when she arrived at the shelter with a large, open wound on one of her rear legs. Being in a loud, scary environment and in so much pain, she was fearful and shut down. We knew her story couldn’t end there. All she needed was proper medical attention and time to decompress.
We pulled her from the shelter and took her straight to the hospital for wound care. While her leg took weeks of dressings and bandage changes, it was only a few days after leaving the shelter that our sweet girl came out of her shell and showed us just how much love she has to give.
While a little shy at first, Angelique warms up quickly to new people, especially if she has a doggy friend or two to help her feel more confident, or, of course, if you tempt her with a treat! Angelique loves to watch TV by your side or play outside with toys and other dogs. Her fosters call her “perfect,” which is easy to believe because she is crate-trained, house-trained, walks well on her leash and knows basic obedience commands already!
Officially ready to find her forever home, we only ask that her new family give her grace and time to decompress so she can learn her new routine in her new home. She would be best with older children or even a playful doggy sibling, We promise this angelic girl will reward you with a lifetime of the sweetest kisses and keep a smile on your face with all her silly antics!
Angelique’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. To meet this resilient angel and see just how irresistible she really is, apply now!
GENTLE. CHILL. RESILIENT.
Hulk is a distinguished gentleman of eight-years young who is best described as a gentle giant with a relaxed, loving personality. Due to more severe arthritis in his hind limbs, he was placed on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. We knew he still had a full life to lead, so we saved him and started working on treating his lameness and pain.
While Hulk is not a candidate for surgery to alleviate his arthritis, he has been doing well with his pain management plan. He has improved mobility and has been able to enjoy life again! He is ready to find that forever kind of love. Physical therapy could also help him maintain and possibly increase his mobility.
Hulk likes children of all ages, new people and new places but needs to be your one and only dog in the home. He is crate- and house-trained, knows how to use the dog door along with basic commands. This loving pup loves to go on car rides and can be trusted to be left alone.
Hulk would make a loving companion for a family looking for a gentle, laidback dog that loves cuddles and just hanging out near you. He is the perfect pup in a house or an apartment but does enjoy a stroll through the neighborhood. If you want to keep leveling up his training, he would enjoy that as he is incredibly food-motivated!
Hulk's adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. Apply now to meet this sweet, hunk of a boy that would love snuggle up with his forever family!

PLAYFUL. ENERGETIC. SWEET.
Eddy is lovable hunk of a dog that just loves to meet new people, go to new places and get his daily walk in! He was found as a stray and taken to a nearby veterinary hospital by a good Samaritan before coming into our care.
This sweet and silly boy is very smart and trainable. Eddy has been hard at work learning basic commands, leash and door manners, and crate- and house-training. With his training coming along well, he is finally ready to find his forever home!
Eddy will need to be the one and only king of your castle with no other dogs or small animals in the home. He loves people, but he is a larger boy who doesn’t always know his size, so older children or an adult-only home would be ideal.
With his energy level, he would love a more active family who could give him a daily walk and continue his training.
Eddy’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. Apply now to meet this loving, playful giant who is so excited to find his perfect forever home!

GOOFY. SWEET. PLAYFUL.
Chopper is around four years old and is a lovable, 60-pound dog with the most endearing grin. He often sticks his tongue out of you, which always makes everyone around him smile! Chopper was listed for euthanasia at the county shelter due to an upper respiratory infection and having limb lameness. We couldn’t let that be the end of his story!
Thankfully, Chopper has fully recovered from his upper respiratory infection and has been receiving treatment for Valley Fever, which is a treatable and manageable, non-contagious disease that can cause limb lameness.
Chopper is a playful, fun-loving dog who is dog-friendly, family-friendly, and even cat-friendly (!!). He’s been around birds and small animals and has done so well. You might say Chopper kind of adores everyone and everything.
Chopper is a total sweetheart and would make such a great addition to an active family who would enjoy taking their dog for regular walks in the neighborhood and could provide him with a consistent routine. He would absolutely love to be your work-from-home companion!
Chopper’s foster family has helped him become a master at crate- and potty-training. He also loves car rides! He’s currently working on leash and door manners along with basic obedience.
His adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip.
