Chopper is a lovable, 60-lb gentle giant with the most endearing grin. His tongue hardly fits in his mouth, so its impossible not to smile when you're around him. He is a playful, fun-loving boy ready to find his forever home.

Chopper joined us after being on the euthanasia list for having Valley Fever. We couldn't let that be the end of his story, so he joined LTA, received prompt treatment, and hasn't let it slow him down since! He's a great boy, and his story is still unfolding - with so many wonderful adventures ahead.

Chopper is the perfect family companion. In his foster home, he's also the best work-from-home buddy! He would love a home that enjoys taking him for strolls in the neighborhood and letting him tag along on all the adventures. He is extremely dog-friendly with dogs of all sizes and has also done well being around birds and small animals in the past. Being the fun-loving boy that he is, he has shown interest in chasing cats, but he's just a giant teddy bear at heart.

Chopper would love nothing more than to be with a family who adores him, where he can spend his days next to his favorite people. Whether that's playing with squeak toys, riding in the car (his personal favorite!), or cuddling close for a nice morning nap. Ashley is a gorgeous, intelligent and enthusiastic young pup who’s ready to take on the world with her forever family. She may have had a rocky start, but this girl has turned that page and is now writing her happily-ever-after story!

This lucky lady received professional trained, and she has mastered commands like “sit,” “place,” “lay,” “let’s go,” “leave it,” plus has impeccable door manners and impulse control. (We'll even include a session with our trainer so you'll know all her commands from day one!)

Hi! My name is Ruger, and I am a spunky, handsome, 8 year old, good doberboy looking for my furever family. I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet nights at home with my family, a good meal, a warm bed and all the love I can get! If you are looking for a velcro Doberman, then look no further because this hunk of love likes to be right by your side. 

I am learning all about what it’s like to live in a nice warm (or cool in AZ) house. I enjoy the occasional bark at noises in the yard or things in the street, but it’s not excessive. I love to run in  the yard and play with all of my toys. I especially love soccer balls! I am learning to be a good boy on a leash and love my weekly, medicated bath. I even jump in the bath tub all by myself. 

I will need someone who will be willing to continue my treatment for valley fever and give me a weekly bath (my fur was all gone but is slowly growing in). I like cats a little too much so I need to be in a cat free home. I need people who respect my space and I'm not sure I'd like tiny humans too much. I love my 12 year old human brother because he knows how to love me just the way I like it. I kind of like to be the boss of the other dogs so a slow intro is a must if I'm going to be around other dogs. I do get along well with my current doberbrother most of the time.

Baxter is living proof that the best things come in big packages! This handsome 10-year-old Rottweiler has officially mastered the art of being the perfect senior gentleman. Think of him as your personal teddy bear who happens to weigh 90+ pounds.

He's the type of dog who wants to be near his people but doesn't need constant attention. Eddy is lovable hunk of a dog that just loves to meet new people, go to new places and get his daily walk in! He was found as a stray and taken to a nearby veterinary hospital by a good Samaritan before coming into our care.

This sweet and silly boy is very smart and trainable. Eddy has been hard at work learning basic commands, leash and door manners, and crate- and house-training. With his training coming along well, he is finally ready to find his forever home!

Eddy will need to be the one and only king of your castle with no other dogs or small animals in the home. He loves people, but he is a larger boy who doesn’t always know his size, so older children or an adult-only home would be ideal. 

With his energy level, he would love a more active family who could give him a daily walk and continue his training.
